Our windows

During our seventeen years as a resident in Bredgade we have been using our street level windows to entertain, inform and sometimes even challenge our fellow residents to think about serious…

…and not so serious issues.

And after 17 years in Bredegade, we went out on a high (house)

We have now relocated to a new office and our final window message was a light hearted bit of fun informing passers-by, that our gorgeous number XX building was to be re-developed as the only downtown skyscraper in the city.

Like many of our previous windows, our final window raised a smile with residents and passers by. It also raised something of a storm amongst many who feel passionately about protecting our city from the ravages of urban developers. We are very happy to have tapped into such positive and passionate emotions and to know that there are many citizens who love their city as much as we do.

However after a polite request from Copenhagen Commune we have agreed to take our swansong window down, as we agree with the commune that their time is better spent dealing with more pressing issues than listening, reading and answering messages about a Chinese skyscraper with a ten meter dragon on its roof that would project real flames into the night sky at ten minute intervals.

For everyone who responded to our windows we would like to thank you.

Please follow look below to see more of our window actions over the years.…and if you are ever in Vermundsgade, please take a look up at the windows of 40A…you never know what might be on them.
